A wellness and anti-ageing clinic, SENS {previously known as Reva} works at using a blend of topical medical research and ancient learnings of Ayurveda to provide the ever-stressed out folks in Delhi a chance to age in a healthy manner.
They have quite a few services on offer, ranging from something as serious as hormone replacement and cryotherapy {to treat benign and malign damages} to holistic, wholesome treatments like yoga and meditation, to indulgent salon treatments.
If you’re going there for a serious diagnosis, they’ll do a proper check-up {an endoscopy, for instance} to ascertain which area of your body needs attention so that they can customise a programme for you. No need to worry though, for these are all non-invasive tests, which means no blood tests. Yay.
While I wasn’t there for the long haul, they did give me a quick electromagnetic radiation therapy {called Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field} that is said to be an effective treatment for insomnia, stress, chronic pain, and many such ailments.
Aside from that, I got a nice facial called the Power Glow Peel, plus a hair wash and a pedicure at their salon upstairs.
The Power Glow Peel was a quick treat: They cleanse your face, and then apply a mango peel mask that’s fragrant and moisturising, followed by some cooling aloe vera gel, scrub, and sunscreen. It also helped that the lady giving the facial was sweet and friendly.
On a completely unrelated note, if you’re there and they offer you something to drink, go straight for the coconut water. It’s super fresh and super yummy—I ended up having three glasses!
For people looking to treat any kind of ailment, whether it’s a chronic disease or a lifestyle change they want to implement. If you don’t want anything serious though and are in the vicinity, we suggest you step in for a hair wash and a blow-dry—the guys at the salon really understood my curly hair and set it really well. Try the pedicure too—the foot massage is killer!
