so basically we were looking for an outing on new year's eve to get rid of all the rowdiness and noise on new year from Delhi-NCR. We came across Trekking event in Triund which is near to McLeodganj. Place is just an overnight journey away from Delhi and you'll be mesmerized for life once you're there.

It is a 7Kms (easy to moderate) trek and any beginner can finish it in 3-5 hours.
we booked our camps for Triund Top by TripHippie.com which costs us 1400/- for 2D-1N including Lunch,Dinner for first day & Breakfast for next.

TripHippie has tie up with Shiv Shakti Guest House in McLeodganj who will serve you all the things. they will provide you a guide who carries your tents,guide you way up and provide you food once you're there. you can book tents once you're in McLeodganj as well in 500/- per person however, it depends on availability. therefore, if you're going there on peak season, book it in advance as there is limited space for camps and rooms up there.

Stay on top overnight and enjoy the chilling weather with bonfire and good food.
They served Rice,Matar Paneer, Dal & Chicken for dinner upthere. Food was absolutely fabulous given we were on top of hill where basic amenities are missing.

Shiv Shakti Guest House are a delight when it comes to serving their Guest.

they communication with people up at hill as we had to wait for 2 hours for our camps reason being our guide was late and they only allow tourists if you have your guide with you.

Take Rum with you as it gets very cold and Rum will be your survival buddy.
they'll tell you it is not allowed but nobody check it there, just hide it safe.
