Mizpah Delhi is a B&B and cafe, that has been refreshed in a relaxed modern Anglo-Indian style that reflects Caroline Gabriel's heritage in India and the many years she spent in Australia. Caroline was born in Kolkata (Calcutta), emigrating as a teenager with her family to Australia. Whilst studying nursing in Australia, she met Shaun Bowden at the hospital and forged a strong and eternal bond. Caroline decided to return to India and after staying in the house that was called Scarlette Delhi at that time, she chose to make this a home for both Shaun and herself in India, and a full service bed and breakfast for all those who yearn for a homely, intimate and personalised local experience in India.

What makes it awesome?
Besides being a lovely B&B, Mizpah Cafe also is one of the only true Anglo Indian Cafe's in India. It captures the elegance of a bygone era in a new way whilst still appearing updated, relaxed and comfortable. The Cafe provides a great place to work from, to hold meetings or to just sit back and read a book in a quiet corner.
Mizpah is also vocal for local. The Mizpah Home range of local crafts such as bamboo bags, pottery, cushion covers and other unique finds, are all locally made by traditional artisans. There are also local guest artists who put up their art on rotation at the cafe, to promote local talent.
Celling fans are throughout the house adding that slight breeze. The calming blues chosen for the wall colours represents Australian clear summer skies and the rich ocean depths. To complement the natural colour palettes of the cottons, rattans and woods are injections of green from the graceful indoor plants that grace the living room and café.
The food is generous, the vibe happy and the atmosphere relaxed. What more can you ask for!
