We started from Delhi at 8 am on a Saturday towards Dadhikar Fort in Alwar. Once we reached the Alwar city, the map guided us towards the hills, near which the fort was located.
As we reached the fort, I was stunned by its beauty. It was serene, calm, and beautiful. I could instantly feel the peace. The fort manager Mr Rahul was kind enough to provide us with an early check in at 12.30 PM {usually scheduled at 2 pm}. As we waited for our family members to join us from Jaipur, we roamed around the 1200-year-old fort and were spellbound.
They only serve vegetarian food but it was amazing. The dinner served at the fort was fantastic. You should carry your own booze or you will have to travel 15 to 20 km to buy some. The rooms in the fort are royal. Make sure you attend their cultural program that takes place in the evening around 7 pm.
