Madam Chutney recreates authentic flavours with playful twists, a touch of freshness, and a whole load of quality for you. First things first, we pay heed to the ambiance of any particular restaurant since a lot of what leads to a good experience is the setting. They have done up the place quite well with pink and golden as their base colours and a lot of playful neon signs and cane furniture that make the entire space look warm and beautiful. Street style, but chic.
They have a contemporary take on chaat, which luckily, though innovative, keeps the flavours intact. At this pure vegetarian restaurant, we ordered things like Gol Gappe Shots, Palak Patta Chaat, Nawabi Dahi Batashe, and Mini Dahi Bhalla. We absolutely loved the Palak Patta Chaat; it was extremely crispy and just the right amount of tangy. The remaining were versions of the most famous chaats from across India. From the infamous Bombay Bhel to Benaras Tamatar Chaat, get it all here.
For mains, pick from options like Kashmiri Kaladi Cheese Kulcha, Kathal Ke Kebab, Chilli Soya Chaap, Cheesy Garlic Mushroom, and Paneer Tikka Makhani. We enjoyed their Mumbai Central Options, which meant delicacies like Bombay Sandwich Wheel, Smoked Pao Bhaji, Madam’s Dabeli, and a whole lot of other Bombay specials which were given their own twist to keep them in accordance with Madam Chuntey’s aim to give chaat a contemporary twist. If you want to pair your meal with the perfect drink then we think you must order Madam’s Spiced Jamun which is made out of real jamun and not artificial flavor. We ended our meal with the good old desserts, Kufli Darsan, Fried Kulfi Pop, and Madam’s Shahi Tukda.
The restaurant is on the second floor, right above Deja Brew. Our verdict on the entire experience is great and we would definitely recommend you to head here and take the chaat lover friend of yours too.
