In the cold spring season of Uttarakhand, I’d gone specifically to see the blossoms of various kinds - plum, peaches, apples, apricots, wild cherries and more. I had no idea that it would turn out to be way better than expected.
On a random walk in Kasar Devi, we sighted an old British cottage. We went and said hello to the present owners who took us on a round of their estate. With a green lawn with an endless view of the Himalayan peaks on a side, it was surreal, to say the least; and what made it even more stunning was the white plum flowers that lay strewn across the ground.
There was a solitary plum tree in front of our eyes and it was laden with white flowers. With the background of dark blue skies, I was spellbound by the beauty. I wish I get to see more of the spring blossoms was fulfilled in Kasar Devi near Almora.
