Started as a project for a fashion design course, Aishwarya and Parigna took things up a notch by full-fledgedly pursuing this as a business in a bid to sell quirky and exciting accessories. Maison Foolery specialises in handmade, long-lasting and gender fluid accessories that will give your fashion choices a unique zing.
Maison Foolery uses a 12th century Japanese technique known as Marbling which includes dyed hand-cut leather pieces sewn together. These leather pieces are dyed individually and get their colouring by paint patterns floating freely in a solution that lend to the overall design. This fluidity of the process is synonymous with the brand’s products and the style it gives your wardrobe. The Marble Raye mini wallets and the Ara card holders, both using the marbling technique, are bestsellers. When they say nothing goes to waste, they take it seriously with their Lila pouches, made out of leftover leather pieces. These accessories are first of their kind that require a good amount of skill.
