Hema's South Indian is a lovely enterprise that was born out of three generations of running the popular Ratna Cafe in Chennai. They now host cooking workshops, cater for events, and offer fresh, homemade batters (idli, appam, ragi batter and more) and masalas (like gun powder and sambhar powder) across Delhi NCR. They're actually quite popular in the capital for their coastal Chettinad cuisine, their stone-milled batters, and have over 400 patrons in the city. And, we've got good news for you because the good folks at Hema's South Indian, particularly Hema and her daughter Anjali, will be hosting a free workshop with us.
At this workshop, Anjali's mother, Hema, will demonstrate how to make dishes like Malabari Fish Curry, Chicken Chettinad Masala Dry, Beetroot Chutney, and Appams. The participants will sample everything that's made, and there'll even be a small, sit-down lunch post the workshop.
It's the chance to gain some stellar Chettinad cooking skills, to enjoy a lovely lunch this weekend, and to try something new. Do you really want pass on this offer?
