After we talked to you about the Brahmaputra Market {BP}, we’re telling you about another spot that the young Noidaites particularly relate to. Here’s our top 4 picks in the Godawari Complex in Sector 37, which comes alive come sunset.
Making our Way Through Godawari Complex, Sector 37, Noida
Teasta
The Teasta, locally known as The Tea Shop, is a hole in the wall that gives this complex its popularity. Started and run by Capt. VK Mehra and his wife, in 1995, who were originally tea planters, Teasta is one of the Capital’s oldest cafes, and offers humble offerings including jasmine green tea, hazelnut coffee, and grilled sandwiches. As for seating, don’t expect too much of it, save for the few stools outside the establishment; think of it as more of a drive by kind of establishment.
Bistro 37
A most recent addition to the complex, and catering to comfort food seekers, think of them as your go-to for big doses of carbs, cheese, and everything in between. Kickass sandwiches and burgers, the B37 sandwich, Gobbler and lamb burgers are must tries. Friendly staff and prompt service make this place a must visit.
Chaudhary Dairy & Sweets
A far cry from everything we’ve talked about so far, think of them as your pick for more Indian sweets and dessert. If you’re looking for a break, sample their fresh fried samosas, bread pakoras and kachoris. PS: You’re better off going in the morning, so you get the pick of the litter. Finish the meal with their fresh jalebis.
Tea stall
If you are in the mood for fresh boiled cardamom milk tea with cookies, then this unnamed tea stall is a must visit. We all are really proud of this shop as they recently moved from using plastic cups to environmental friendly paper cups. If you can find a better place that serves better tea then please let us know!
