What's Happening

Delhi Tourism in association with Delhi Government is organising its 31st Mango Festival from July 5-7 at Dilli Haat in Janakpuri.

Over 500 traditional, hybrid and unique varieties of mangoes will be displayed from different states of India. There will be different kinds of mango products on sale as well which includes pickles, jams, chutney, jelly, aam papad and aam panna.

One can also buy crates full of unripe mangoes and learn from professionals how to ripen the fruit at home. 

More than 20,000 people visit this fest every year. The highlight of the festival is that every person who visits is given a free mango sapling which people can then go and plant in their homes.

Pro-Tip

The ticket cost for entry to Dilli Haat for adults is INR 20 and is free for children below the age of 10. The tickets will be available at the venue. 

The nearest metro station is Janakpuri East on the blue line.
