Artisan chocolate brand Mason & Co is back with a new chocolate bar, with intense dark chocolate making up 85 per cent of its composition. Sweetened with organic palm sugar {which apparently lends the chocolate a caramel flavour} to balance out the intense and bitter overtones of the rich dark chocolate, the bar is made with raw cacao fermented to achieve a dark and dense texture and flavour.
The Pondicherry-based company’s new addition is organic, vegan and also gluten-free. Currently, the chocolate bar is available to order exclusively from Place Of Origin, a gourmet food website.
