What Makes It Awesome

Most of the skincare products that are easily available are almost always full of chemicals that are bad for our skin and the environment. Manvi, the creator of Mineral, a plant-based online beauty brand, decided to create her own skincare line that only featured products made with natural ingredients, with some products being super raw and only using a single ingredient. Plus, the packaging is sustainable and plastic-free and they’re also vegan and cruelty-free.

I loved the minimalist vibe of the website that matches the products perfectly. Simple and clean packaging and a low key vibe, they have 2 face washes named Dusk and Dawn, that are in powder form so a few drops of water and it becomes a face wash. The Daylight moisturiser comes in a small jar and is pretty lightweight, it doesn’t mess with the natural oils of our skin and just adds hydration. The Massage Oil comes in a bottle with dried flowers in it that look so beautiful! There’s also some soaps and scrubs available like the Honey and Lemongrass Soap, the Moon Soap with musk rose and charcoal that looks like a piece of the moon (duh) and a millennial pink Wildflower soap with rose and jasmine. The scrubs are pretty standard - there’s a coffee, rose, lemon and jasmine one.

The products aren’t meant to last ages, they’re so natural that their shelf life is shorter than the regular stuff you’ll find in most stores but that was kind of the point. Stored in a fridge though, they should stay a-okay till you end up using the entire product.

Price: INR 450 each for the Dusk and Dawn face wash, INR 450 for the Daylight Moisturiser, INR 780 for the Massage Oil, INR 195 each for soaps, INR 650 onwards for scrubs

What Could Be Better

Some of the products have been out of stock for a bit so I’m still waiting for them to be available again.

Pro-Tip

If you like a BTS of how products are made, they’ve got an entire section on their Instagram showing the process which was a really cool touch.
