What Makes It Awesome

How about living the 'less is more' lifestyle? We're thinking of giving this a shot, especially after stumbling up on Minimal Indian, a local home decor label making us fall in love with simplicity, all over again.  Conceptualised and created by Adrita & Chintan, Minimal Indian boasts of two product lines, ceramic tableware and home textiles. Every piece is handcrafted from start to finish, adding to this brand's charm.

Tableware features plates, saucers and trays (perfect for trinkets or tea bags), cups, goblets, tumblers and pasta or snack serving bowls. Each piece is hand-painted by the couple in minimal designs of floral motifs (we're crushing hard on the Shiuli, Gulab and Poppy), polka dots and simple geometric patterns (although most of their ceramic ware is one colour, they also have pieces with pops of gorgeous pastels, mustard, pink, green, blue). All made from stoneware clay and lead-free paints, these ceramics are food, microwave and dishwasher safe and cost between INR 400 to INR 1,700. Coming to home textiles, they sell monochromatic natural linen and cotton table runners, and cushion covers. These have beautiful, minimal block printed patterns on them (first carved on sheesham wood to create original blocks) ready to blend into every cozy corner of home. Textiles range between INR 900 to INR 1,800.

To order, head to their zen inducing Instagram page, Minimal Indian and lie to us that you don't feel the instant urge to buy everything you see (we'll wait).  They have launched an official e-commerce site to facilitate shipping worldwide, click on Enquire Now to place direct orders.
