What Makes It Awesome

After creating quite a buzz on the Gram, this house of mystery has finally opened its door and I'm stoked. Miss Pinto is the latest entrant to Delhi's most loved bars and restaurants. Located on the second floor of Vasant Vihar's Basant Lok Community Centre, this place is already becoming a crowd favourite. Especially for their varied range of cocktails.

Upon entering Miss Pinto, you'll find an awe-inspiring place with vibrant decor, plush furniture and a typical 90s musical vibe. Chances are, you'll head straight for the bar and you should. Neat, glistening bottles of amber liquid that can single-handedly liven you up. The tall windows allow for ample light and give an explosive view of the lovely trees outside. So yes, definitely a picturesque place for you to dine in at.

Miss Pinto's bar menu is longer than the food one, for obvious reasons. Each page on the bar menu highlights a particular place and the inspiration behind that drink. They have interesting concoctions like Breakfast In America which is a Gin-based drink with basil, orange, marmalade, rosemary and lime; A Chai No-Groni which has Italian coffee-infused Campari, Gin and chai-infused red vermouth. Moving on to the food menu, they have everything from Smoked Chorizos for appetizers to Miss Pinto's Duck Salad for Small Plates. For desserts, you can go in for The 'Cigar' Matinee which is a cigar smoked cognac, hot chocolate, strawberry sorbet. Wow. Or perhaps a Matcha Cake, that's created quite a buzz on the internet too.

They are open from 12 noon to 10 pm.

Price: INR 2,000 for two (approximately)

Pro-Tip

We'd recommend booking a spot prior to your visit. While the place is following all safety protocols, it's crucial that we take our own precautions by maintaining social distancing and wearing masks at all times before heading out.

Probably found writing something under a bald tree, with my earphones on, next to a dog and a gigantic bowl of Caramel Popcorn!
