Monkeying in the City - Monkey Bar’s Three-City Unified Menu

With Monkey Bar now in three metros, the time is ripe for us to get to know what’s up down south. With a new unified menu that traverses Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, Monkey Bar now presents us with the taste of these cities, albeit with a twist. Tale of Three Cities invites all to come and try the new flavours that will now be available in all Delhi Monkey Bars. We tried out the extravaganza, and here’s the scoop.

While Mumbaikars might be looking for new flavours, Delhi seems to be loving the rich and buttery Pao Bhaji with Cheese Grits. Monkey is also doing their Mobar and Yakuza burgers in black and red. Ever fancied a taco with a desi twist? We totally recommend the Laal Maas Phulka version. The menu also sports some exotic seafood; we say the peppered calamari is a must.{They’re like really tasty fryyums with curry leaves}.

Since the menu is mostly about retaining the favourites from the various cities, expect the best and most popular of everything that Monkey Bar has ever offered {yes we know it’s  tough call to have to pick!}. Also try the cocktails – they have a very distinct desi flavour, with quirky names to go with the whole presentation; GT Karnal anyone?

What we cannot get enough of are the desserts though. The Rasmalai Pannacotta is a flavourful saffron infused dessert that has a mousse base, the taste being subtle, but a mouthful of pure goodness. The Bread and Butter Brioche Pudding is another sweetmeat that is perfectly complimented by the vanilla ice-cream and the blueberry compote. Monkey Bar’s menu definitely has our vote!
