It's no surprise that during these challenging times that we're living in, the need for homemade meals is greater than ever. Run by a super mother-daughter duo, MOOD in Vasant Vihar offers home-cooked takeaway meals that include traditional delicacies. All the meals are cooked by the captain of the kitchen, Kusuma Juneja who was born and brought up in the queen of hills, Darjeeling. Assisting her mother in preparing these divine meals, her daughter Nicole Juneja heads all the other operations at MOOD. The menu is as versatile as it can get with a range of Tibetan, Bhutanese and Lepcha dishes along with scrumptious momos. Having stayed in Darjeeling for two years myself, I know how vital momos were to me and I was more than delighted to cross paths with MOOD. Their daily menu includes Vegetarian and Chicken Momo Meal, Khapse, Chicken Pickle among other things. If you're a fan of pork, their Smoked Pork or Double Cooked Pork belly is to die for. Every meal that you order is accompanied by the zestiest ever Tamatar achaar, Aloo achaar and a piece of Khapse. Take it from us, once you try these comfort meals, there will be no going back. And for the love of momos, you've got to give them a try.
You can orders momos any day of the week except for Tuesdays and between 1 pm and 9 pm. They are delivering across Delhi and Gurgaon. A delivery fee of INR 50 is charged for deliveries upto 10km radius and anything beyond is INR 100. They accept online payments via Google Pay, Paytm and bank transfer.
