As a part of the Delhi Walk Festival, the group, What’s Happening in Sanjay Van, is bringing their popular “moonlit walk through Sanjay Van”. The idea is to see the forest’s character and aura on a full moon night. The walking trail will start from one end of the forest and will take the walkers to the bird watching tower near the JNU exit.

Why Should I Go For It?
For long, we’ve stayed clear of Sanjay Van thanks to its widespread reputation for being unsafe. At some time, this urban forest was also considered too shady to be explored after dusk.
This is exactly why art project, What’s Happening At Sanjay Van came around in the first place. They not only examine the reasons that have led to this terrible fall from grace but also host activities and awareness drives to familiarise people with the beautiful side of the forest. This walk that they host regularly is a step in the same direction.
With two talented walk leaders, Kush Sethi and Aastha Chauhan, the participants will realise that at contrary to popular belief, Sanjay Van is in fact bustling with diverse life forms and is anything but dead and decaying. Both these people are experts in art, ecology and communications and we don’t see why you’d want to see a new perspective from anyone but them.
