Ten-Second Takeaway

Hidden away on the first of Sector 29’s Brahmaputra market, Mrignayani, which happens to be a Madhya Pradesh state emporium, houses saris, fabric for kurtas, dupattas, clutches, bed sheets, bed covers, lamp shades, swings, and more.

It’s Not Too Late

060916_Mrignayni1For you to buy a sari. The cotton ones we found here start at about INR 700, and are especially perfect if you’re someone who wears saris everyday. They also house chanderi and tussar saris, which are more expensive, naturally, but still within budget and with designs that you definitely don’t see everyday.

Keep in mind that this store isn’t stocked to the brim, but if you dig deep enough, you may find something you like. We especially recommend checking out their kurta/salwar kameez material: There are a whole lot of beautiful gold-on-white and black-and-white designs, which would translate to great formal wear.

So, We’re Saying

Go here to pick up some beautiful saris, at great prices. While you’re there, maybe pick up a swing: As we entered, we saw a whole bunch of jute swings and hammocks, that were just calling out to be hung on our balcony.

#LBBTip: There’s always a 10 per cent discount at this store.
