As much as I like online shopping for myself (I currently have 4 different packages on the way), I also really, really like spoiling my pets. Like crazy. I’m not going into the endless debate of who has the cutest dog but I do have two adorable chihuahuas I love to dress up. I found Mutt Of Course, an online pet shop, while going through my favourite hashtag #dogsofinstagram.
They call themselves the happiest pet brand and I had to agree just looking at their Instagram feed. They had golden retrievers wearing bandanas, beagles in harnesses and indies on dog beds. Their entire collection is available on Amazon (no Prime available though). I got the smallest available size in a bowtie for my male chihuahua, Caesar, and honestly he looked super cute (but he always does.) The bowtie wasn’t scratchy and didn’t trouble him so he could keep it on without constantly tugging it at. My female chi (Lolly) doesn’t really like accessories so I only got her a harness with cushioning on the inside since she tends to pull when she goes on walks. The material was organic so it didn’t bother her but the smallest size was a little too big on her. I also got them a mat they can share called Pupsicles with lots of ice-cream on it that they like to lounge on in the sun.
Overall, I liked the collection they had but I’m going to wait till it gets colder to pick up dog clothes. I do hope, though, that some more small dog friendly styles and sizes are made available by then.
