Nuts About Berries
When we got hold of My Mom’s Granola, we had our apprehensions, as we do with all things that are packaged as healthy, but given that we’ve been unsuccessfully trying to shake off the habit of eating a bunch of fried stuff between meals, we decided it was worth a shot.
We started with the Original, which comprises walnuts, almonds, seeds, mixed berries, honey and ghee. The Vegan version is pretty much the same except, the honey and ghee are replaced by agave syrup and coconut oil, respectively.
They’re both pretty delish, and the sweetness sort of makes us forget that we’re supposed to be put off by healthy food. The vegan version, however, is significantly lighter. They’re both made sans preservatives, so you need to make sure you’re finishing them off withing four months, which honestly shouldn’t be a problem at all.

My Mom’s Granola is great for those who are staying away from fat and sugar, as well as for those who aren’t. We aren’t complaining that we’re getting something yummy which is also not adding 10 inches to our waists.
