Wavy, groovy, pastel french tips are THE manicure of the year and while I've been loving all the nail inspo on my Instagram feed, I can't really be running to a nail salon every week to get them done and nor can I be purchasing bottles (and bottles) of OPI nail paints to get the look.
There's an easy way out, though, of spending INR 850 on one nail polish from OPI. Check out these beauty brands that have a shade range much like OPI's, without the painful price tag.
Vegan, cruelty-free and actually affordable, Disguise Cosmetics' nail polishes make your nails look healthy and shiny with just two coats. Pastels to darker tones, they have a bunch of different colours but if you're someone who likes pink (and its many variants), check out their range.

A shade range that rivals OPI's million options, Ellement Co.'s nail paints are also vegan, free from most harmful chemicals found in typical nail paints and don't chip for at least 5-7 days. While they have a ton of nude and subtle shades, I personally recommend you try out the bolder, neon shades.

Nehbelle Cosmetics has a range of nail paints that are vegan and hypoallergenic, so they're safe(r) to use than typical nail paints. Their pastel shade range is a bit lacking but I love all the options they have for bolder, deeper options like navy blue, burgundy and fifty shades of brown.

Is there anything that MINISO doesn't do at like, a 10x cheaper price? Short answer, no. My long answer would also be no. They have a pretty good shade range and even have some super glittery ones that are generally missing in other brands. For the price, you can't expect incredible quality as these do tend to peel off a bit sooner than most.

Spekta Cosmetics has gone the extra mile to make makeup and beauty products that suit and work for Indian skin. Their gel nail polish is also vegan and cruelty-free and leaves a super glossy finish. They're also favourites of nail art lovers, if you've seen their Instagram, and the amount of incredible designs people recreate using their nail paints.

Nykaa's probably the only brand that's beaten OPI at its own game with the number of shades, finishes and range available. No, really. Matte, glossy, super glittery, they have it. Bright, bold, pastel, neutral, they have it.

Clavo has a pretty good shade range, too, with around 20 different colours from reds to blues. Theirs is also free from most (bad) chemicals found in nail paints and chip-resistant.

Another vegan and cruelty-free brand with only nail paints as their product (so you know they put in a lot of thought into them), Moraze has a wide range of vegan and cruelty-free nail polishes in every colour of the rainbow. An orange isn't just orange here, it's peach, bright orange and tangerine and that goes for pink, blue and nudes, too.

This one obviously had to make it to the list since there was a time when Colorbar was our Nykaa when it came to nail paints. Remember when you'd walk down to a random shop in your colony and pick up 3 nail paint bottles for no reason? According to their website, Colorbar has 1,001 shades so if you've been looking for a shade or finish that you didn't think existed... It probably does at Colorbar.
