What Makes It Awesome

Nar Maada (male and female in Hindi) is a homegrown clothing brand that we discovered when we were looking to add to our printed shirts collection for the summer. Started by siblings Samvida and Siddhant in 2020, the brand works with traditional hand block print techniques. Their line-up has shirts and short kurtas for men and shirts and spaghetti tops for women. All of them feature hand block print patterns such as Ajrakh, Bagh, Batik, Shibori, Dabu, Bagru, and Kalamkari. These patterns include floral motifs, geometrical, lines, and abstract shapes.

Some of our favourites include the ones that feature Mughal prints, cow motifs, and black beetle. We love how the collection has plenty for both men and women, and this writer has already added a bunch of shirts to his cart. You'll love the fit (it's a regular fit) and everything is made from pure cotton, uses natural dyes, and features wooden buttons (on the shirts and kurtas that is). Both the sizes for men and women start at XS and go all the way to XXL, and are priced between INR 899 and INR 1899. It's free shipping Pan-India.
