A New Collection and All Things Bespoke by Studio Wood Collective

Ever since Alicia Silverstone’s moment of genius in Clueless, a good old makeover has held a special place in our hearts. Presenting Studio Wood Collective, committed to transforming homes, as well as repurposing dusty, ignored pieces of furniture with their wildly imaginative charm.

SWC was born with the vision of integrating clever design into an otherwise monotonous furniture manufacturing process. SWC takes the mission of re-loving old furniture up a notch by taking on projects from people who want their coffee table reinvented. Our grandmothers will be happy to know that we didn’t {after all} dispose of a household asset; good old holders-on-to-things that we are, we’ve found new reason to adore old stuff.

Making the most of the skills within the Collective, they also offer A-Z customisation and end-to-end interior design solutions for homes or rooms that could do with a new life, and a new coat of paint.

They’ve previously designed tri-based chairs, re-purposed drawers which double as poufs, a shelf turned table, and lots more delightfully eclectic creations.

Now they’re out with their collection 28N77E, which are actually the coordinates of Delhi. The collection is further divided into four sub categories. Needless to say, the theme is the capital – the diversity in form, functions, materials and colours are all inspired by the cosmopolitan nature of our city. The collection uses a lot of teak, oak, and walnut, blended with metal for a dash of sleek. Think warm earthy tones with just a splash of colour to brighten up a room.

So whether you’re looking for chic quality readymade furniture, or want to partially design your own with expert inputs, SWC delivers.
