Needledust
We know what time of year it is; this is when patialas replace the palazzos, and kurtas retire the crop tops. We've heard about how shoes are one of the most telling accessories on a woman {especially if there's no time to get a pedicure, and you need a cover up}. So we're awarding Juttis 'shoes of the season' status. We've done the rounds of Lajpat, Sarojini, and Anokhi, Kilol and Fabindia's looks same but is more expensive range of Juttis, and although all functional, we haven't got our feet on a pair of showstoppers. Until Needledust. Handcrafted by some of India's finest artisans, Needledust specialises in a line of bespoke fine leather Juttis, all re-invented and re-designed using Indian textiles, handicrafts, and long forgotten design patterns. Think bright colour juttis in oranges, pinks and pop colours, with hand embroidery, embellished with small Ghungroos. There's a more festive, dressy line for well, this season, and they also do a less accessorised summer line, using florals and deer printed motifs, which you can switch up and wear with less traditional wear. They've taken into consideration the unparalleled shoe biting of Juttis, and have special care instructions for how to handle and soften the leather, so your feet are well protected. Our suggestion - get the pedicure anyway, if not for appearances, then for the sake of the shoes.

MAWI for Koovs
For you London frequenters, and ASOS addicts, you'll know Mawi, and you should know Koovs. Koovs is all set to introduce London based MAWI's line of jewellery, tees and totes. No news on what pieces or which collection will make the flight to Delhi, but we can be sure they'll follow Mawi's distinct aesthetic of bold pieces, statement worth jewellery, and multi-coloured embellishments. If you know Mawi, her price points are probably making you re-think just how excited you should be, but stay excited, since the line will start at INR 595, and will go up to INR 2595. The line, titled MAWI X KOOVS, will be available online on Koovs come November 10th. That's too far away, if you ask us.
