New In Town: Places To Shop, Eat, & Visit In Delhi

We love it when founders put in their own personal experiences to weave an experience for the guests and such is the case with the food at Kamei in Malviya Nagar. This new swanky restaurant and bar is inspired by the founders' travels across East Asia and offers you a dive into the culinary nuances of the different places. Expect elevated and visually pleasing food with scrumptious sushi and dim sums supremacy coupled with smooth cocktails.

Lucky for Gurugram folks, Chicken Inn has a new address in G-town on Golf Course Road. It's an opulent family diner where you can expect the same ol' delicious juicy kebabs and butter chicken to woo you. Vegetarians have the smoky broccoli tikka and paneer tikka to enjoy apart from the Chinese delicacies. And of course, the smooth supply of green chutney and onions, and that warm hospitality we love visiting Chicken Inn for remain the same.

Sidecar's newest gift to us is named 'The Brook', a Himalayan bar and kitchen that's spotlighting the flavours of the hills. We love how the place is packed but not loud, and perfect for grabbing a drink in the day. The place looks great and exudes the vibe of a rustic wooden lodge in the hills, something one would appreciate amidst Gurugram's concrete jungle. And when you have momos to hog on while sipping crafty cocktails (a match made in heaven for us Delhiites), there's nothing that can go wrong , right?

The folks at Diggin have blessed us with another cute cafe in Anand Lok. Gardin Cafe is repping regional Indian favourites and comfort Asian food so head here when you want to miss the usual pizza-pasta orders a miss. They have a beautiful open space and would be the perfect place to hangout for brunches at this winter.

We got to know about this outlet from a friend who's a coffee connoisseur and couldn't stop raving about how amazing the coffee quality was. The pocket-friendly pricing for the coffee is another thing our friend mentioned (their iced latte in 'maxi' size is for INR 180 before taxes) and so, if you are near Two Horizon Centre anytime soon, definitely check the place out for a quick coffee run. Also, they have all Beanly coffee variants at display in case you wish to buy some for your at-home coffee sesh.

LBB Tip: Their straws are made from edible rice paper.

One of our beloved cafes in town, Melt House known for their New York style cookies and their gourmet sandwiches has expanded their offerings to bespoke cocktails. When you visit, we highly suggest you head up to their third floor which is a stunning space inspired by an Edinburgh pub with the whimsical charm of a Budapest ruin bar. The cocktail menu itself is fresh, experimental, and speaks volumes when it comes to the craft of cocktails itself.

If you have a fetish for stunning fancy shoes, good news for you! Aquazzura, an Italian luxury shoe brand that has a chokehold on fashion girlies for their gorgeous yet comfotable heels has opened their first store in India at The Chanakya. The store is a visual treat and is done up in the brand's signature aqua hue with elements inspired by a garden blooming in the Italian summer.

Devnaagri's flagship store in Chhatarpur houses their stunning collection of Indian wear with all the elegance you could possibly want in an outfit. If you are a bride or bridesmaid to be, definitely check out the store for their stunning simplistic designs adorned with intricate handcrafted embroidery. Their clothing as well as the store pays homage to traditional artistry while embracing contemporary elegance.

We came across this fairly new waxing and beauty lounge in Anand Vihar that is perfect for heading to when you want a luxurious pampering sesh. From a smooth waxing experience to luxurious body treatments, they have all sorts of beauty services available to help you with your glow. The place looks stunning, with subtle pink decor and Instagrammable nooks here and there.
