Pop Into This Tea Lounge For Gluten-Free Cakes, Marshmallow Chai & Coffee

V’s Bake Shop has been our trusted baker for healthy desserts, so when we heard that she was opening a tea lounge, we had tell everyone. So guys, this home baker’s cute chai boutique at Chattarpur is now ready to treat you to tea, coffee and gluten and sugar free cookies, cakes and chocolates. Along with a dose of sunshine, of course.

Apart from the baked goodies {both breads and sweet treats included}, Vidhi has tied up with Coffee Bond for freshly brewed cups of java. Everything coming out of her oven is free of that deadly maida-and-cheeni, and essentially a love letter to wholesome, organic desserts. In keeping with their philosophy of reducing wastage, they have a cake of the day. From morning to night, you can step in for a healthy slice, and pair it with a whole variety of teas from No. 3 Clive Road and Tea Trunk. The usual suspects like cardamom and ginger aside, we see interesting blends like marshmallow, dried apple, kahwa and celery seed detox tea.

P.S. The baker’s got a Paleo section with brownies and carrot cakes, because no matter how hard these folks are on their bodies, they deserve a treat every now and then.

Yes, the tea room is a bit of a drive, but look at it this way—you can make a whole day of cafe-hopping around Chattarpur before the weather goes back to being a bummer.
