Serving food from God’s own country, Mahabelly is open in Gurgaon now and comes this side just in time to ship out steaming hot orders of their insanely good Onam Sadhya.

Belly Bursting Goodness

The Sadhya is a feast like no other – with more dishes than you can count, and contrasting flavours that play with your palate with every bite, this is one lavish meal. Tradionally savoured during the summer harvest festival of Onam, this is a vegetarian spread that can seduce even the most hard core of carnivores, and Mahabelly is serving it up in superb style, complete with all the bells and whistles.

Fresh, Coconutty Flavours

Lots of fresh vegetables, coconut {in every possible form}, yoghurt, tamarind, and distinct spices are the mainstay of this sumptuous meal. The star dishes that one can savour, amongst others, are the delicious Parippu {good old dal}, the very coconutty veggie laden Avial, a hot and peppery Rasam, the Mango Puliserry {made with jaggery and ripe mangoes}, the super light and fresh Cabbage Thoran, the refreshing yoghurt Beetroot Pachadi, and of course adequate crunch in form of yummy banana chips and Pappadams.

The Pacha Moru, or the gently spiced buttermilk, will help relax your gut as you navigate through all this gluttony, along with liberal doses of lemon pickle.

End your meal on a gently sweet note with the Ada Pradhanam and the Ari Payasam, redolent with the warm embrace of creamy coconut milk, and that lingering sweetness that only jaggery can give.

So, We're Saying...

Partake in a unique, cultural gastronomic experience that will satiate your senses with the Onam Sadhya, served in full attendance by Mahabelly.
