Vintage 31: Delectable Platters to Feast on, and Pretty Chairs

Floral vintage motifs on the wall, big hot pink statement chairs, a giant bay window, hanging chandeliers, a grand old staircase and a menu packed with breakfast platters, wings and more – Vintage 31 aims to transport you to a bygone era.

Vintage 31 is spread over two floors. The ground floor has very limited seating and houses the cake and dessert display. If you’re hopping in for more than just a slice of cake and coffee, climbing to the first floor would be a better bet. Take your seat on the chair placed in one corner {this makes a great spot for all your selfie needs} or perch atop a white or yellow wooden chair and peruse the menu as you take in the floral walls. The music can be a bit of bummer {the time we were in, they were playing loud Hindi numbers}, but they’re more than happy to change it on request.

Expect an interesting mix of all types of cuisines, beginning with chicken wings and mezze platters, all the way to cold cut platters and seafood chowder. As for mains, the menu is fairly versatile, but stays within the umbrella of Continental or world cuisine, evident from their offerings of English Fish and Chips, River Sole in Lemon Butter Sauce, Grilled Cottage Cheese, Pork Chops and Pork Ribs. They also have a wide pizza, pasta and sandwich collection, and for dessert, classics, including caramel custard, apple crumble, banoffee pudding and red velvet.

Perfect for a quick bite, or a sandwich to go, in between a heavy shopping day at Meherchand.
