Run by a professional, Australian baker, Nik Baker’s is something of a legend in Chandigarh and when we heard news of them coming to Delhi, we got super excited! They’ve finally opened shop. Say hello to breakfast, cakes, sandwiches, pastas and pizzas, Nik Baker’s is a trust-worthy snack stop because everything that comes out of their kitchen is yummy.
What makes Nik Baker’s so special? Well, at least in Chandigarh, the bakery opens its doors to hungry patrons as early as 8am and only shuts shop at midnight. This is also the go-to place for cakes – think Rainbow, KitKat or Red Velvet, Nik Baker’s has an impressive repertoire of baked goodies. We also hear that their tea cakes are special – crumbly, flavourful and soft.
We can’t wait to try a slice of Nik’s Apple Pie, with a big dollop of ice cream on the side along with some of their savoury fare {like the Chicken Bruschetta} and of course, the freshly-baked breads!
