Say hello to Ninkasi, which dazzles you with its welcoming vibe, pitchers full of refreshing beer and plates full of goodies.

Freshly Brewed Goodness

The first thing that catches your eye at Ninkasi is the industrial and open vibe, with special breakout zones for different styles of seating. We got ourselves a comfy wooden table amidst gigantic brewing tanks and happily guzzled the wheat beer {we also liked the Ninkasi special}.

The beer was clean and fulfilling and worked well with the bar bites.

Munching On Some Large Plates

Portions at Ninkasi are enormous, and are designed for sharing. We got ourselves a recommended tandoori vegetarian and non vegetarian platter, and totally fell in love with the creamy malai tikka, the succulent seekh and well-roasted broccoli tikka. We chased this with the special sausage platter that came with caramelised onions, fries and mustard.

Full but still a wee bit greedy, we also sampled the rotisserie chicken that came atop a bed of creamy mash and grilled veggies, which was just the right balance of juicy and crisp.

What Didn’t Impress Us

The Bharwan Alu in the Veg Kebab Platter was stuffed too densely for our liking, and missed the clean and comforting warmth we want from our roasted potatoes.

So, We're Saying...

Get to Ninkasi {before it gets super popular} and revel in a refreshingly clean and open aesthetic, warm service and great beer and food.
