What Makes It Awesome

They say you can’t really have it all. They lie. Of course you can. Especially when it comes to living, working and chilling by the beach in Goa’s sleepy little village, Assagao. Over at the NomadGao in Assagao, check into a heritage villa that has five private room, a 3BHK villa and three studio apartments and budget rooms each. Each of the rooms are named after a different city or town adding to the wanderlust and whimsy of the place. So while sitting tight in Goa, you could be living in Hoi An, Bali, Lisboa or even Chiang Mai! Tis the dream, eh!

I absolutely love that the space is smack in the centre of nature; ideal to soak in the tropical, balmy weather in the monsoon, when it’s especially beautiful. But if you’re here for a work-action, then you’d be happy to know they have a completely separate area for co-working.

All you need to do is waddle over from your living quarters, set up your laptop at one of the workstations (yes, it’s got tables, chairs and workstations! People do tons of work in Goa, OK?) and log into work. Alternatively, find yourself a spot in the balcony to work at through the day, and for when it rains, tuck yourself into a cosy corner in the living room-esque space.

Once you tune out of your 9-5, the local markets are just a quick 10 minutes away. Hop onto a scooter, a bicycle or just amble your way there. Naturally, that is also where the cafes, restaurants and party spots (hold off on this for now, yeah?) are all at. So unwind there. Or take a book, a bottle of water (or a beverage of your choice; it is Goa!) and hit the beach that is literally eight minutes away.
