The city needs to breathe and so do we. Keeping that in mind, the Delhi Government has decided to bring back the odd-even scheme and it’ll be implemented from Nov 13–17 in an effort to curb the ever-worsening air quality in the city.

Starting on Monday, cars with number plates ending in odd numbers will be allowed on the roads on odd dates and vice versa for the even numbered. You might need to start taking public transport on some days, but we’ll take that over the blinding smog any day of the week.

This is the third time this scheme is being implemented and is aimed at reducing the chances of you coughing your lungs out. The first two editions of the scheme were declared as successful attempts at curbing the pollution, let’s hope this one does even better.

We first read about it here.
