Finely tailored menswear is an art. Especially since men won't get away with oversized, female or too tight clothing in the name of androgyny and form fitting. A menswear label from our block {SJP for the win}, Kardo ticks all the right boxes. For men whose store directories only include Zara, Tommy Hilfiger and one too many London stores {courtesy all those summers spent abroad}, Kardo is a fabulous addition.

More on them, now. In the current artisanal spirit, Kardo blends tradition with modernity, making sure each product is a shining example of handcrafted and perfectly tailored fashion. Each shirt is made from the finest fabrics, and has elements of hand stitched detailing. The makers behind the clothing put  their tailoring expertise together with their eye for finer details. Think hand stitched elbow patches, unique prints and patterns facing, shoulder patches, and subtle ribbon tapes on the collars. For men who like to keep it classic, Kardo also does the staple block colours in linen, with hidden trims of different colours, or seams in different threads. As for prints, think a subtle camouflage {we almost missed this one}, an Ikat remisncent pattern, and a legit cotton Ikat shirt. As for smaller details, shirts come equipped with pen pocket details and/or collar buttons {to keep up with all you hipsters}. For every other straight laced gentleman, there's stripes, classic checks, and cotton round neck T shirts with front pockets to keep you entertained as well. Somewhere in between their exhaustive range of shirts, there's a wardrobe solution for every type of occasion, from formal to casual, and the much popular 'smart casuals'.

A good fashion label never leaves the rest of the details up to you, and Kardo takes a cue. They also retail khaki and linen trousers and shorts, tailored to perfection. And for the ultimate top-up - duffel and travel bags in soft leathers. Each item of clothing comes complete with a label mentioning who cut, stitched and finished your shirt, and we can assure you, none of it happened in China.

With a slew of local celebrities making Kardo the menswear label du jour, there's no reason for you to not jump on this bandwagon. Take it from a crew full of ladies.
