Head For An Off-Roading Adventure In The Hills At The Alternate Terrain

    Shortcut

A 15km long trail, lots of greenery and the mountains rolling in the background, The Alternate Terrain is fast becoming a spot for those seeking adventure.

It's Going To Be A Bumpy Ride

There’s a lot you can do with an old riverside ancestral home and we bet off-roading isn’t something that zoomed to your mind. Luckily, it did to Veer Chatrath which is how The Alternate Terrain came about.

If you’re physically pretty fit {and above 18}, the one and a half hour signature ride is what you should sign up for. You’ll be on a double seater bike, with a guide. So not only will your adrenaline be pumping, but you’ll also be shown around the forest area and make a pit stop by the river. And with the mountains in the background, it just makes for a stunning experience, really. Kids can partake if they’re accompanied by adults. They have less vigoroous arrangements for smaller kids, on buggies. And don’t worry, you’re acquainted with all the safety gear and even shown a demo safety video before the ride begins.

They have two slots scheduled on a daily basis.

    Anything Else?

The Alternate Terrain’s also got a beautiful cafe with large glass windows called Big Bear Cafe which serves Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. You can just hop in here for a quick lunch accompanied by breath-taking views, even if off-roading isn’t really up your alley.

They’re open 365 days a year but close down for a bit in case of heavy snow {in January}.

Price: Activities range from INR 400 to INR 5,500
