This Old Bakery In West Delhi Is Winning Our Hearts With Skull-Shaped Chocolates & Candies

Gayway Bakery {don’t let the name mislead you} is a rather old and famous bakery situated bang in the middle of the Rajouri Garden Main Market. It has all your bakery needs and a cute little café on the floor above, for you to sit and satiate all your dessert needs, in the midst of a busy shopping day.

Gayway is quite popular with the crowd that comes to shop at the main market.  A lot of folks make a pit stop to gorge on their chocolate eclair or their fancy theme-based chocolates and candies. The interiors are very warm and welcoming and the whole place is lit up with colours and bright white lights. If you make your way upstairs, they have a cute little café with authentic sewing machine tables, as tables and colourful revolving chairs.

The chocolates they make, look so enticing; we had to take some back! They have chocolates in shapes of footballs, teddy bears, skulls {they’re delicious}, different animals, hearts and many more.

They do a lot of their own bakes and everything tastes very homely from their kitchen. We absolutely love their chocolate éclair and their corn chaat. Try their chocolate brownie, red velvet cake and Nutella shot.

For a day of shopping in the summer sun, Gayway is quite a respite. You can snack on some delicious munchies here before heading out again.
