All the hype about shawarma ends here. This is where most Delhiites learned about how glorious shawarma can be. One of the oldest restaurants in the Community Centre. It’s known for its North Indian and Mughlai food. Although we don’t give it a shining five for quality anymore, it continues to be popular amongst people.

What To Order: Chicken Shawarma and Tangdi Chicken

This family run café is definitely a hidden gem. Offering appetizing Mediterranean food with roof-top seating, this is definitely one of our favourite places to chill at. We think this has the potential of becoming your go to café too with their cosy ambience, quick service and polite staff.

What To Order: Coffee Milkshake, Chicken parma, Debo chicken & Rice Salad Meat and the Tiramisu Ice-cream Sundae. 

Price For Two: INR 800

NFC’s very own pub, if you were in high school in the late nineties/early part of the millennium, we know this was your go-to pubs. Still going strong, we recommend stopping by only for happy hours and to watch sports at, and not if food is your primary agenda. Although, this place has come a long way. 

What To Order: Sangria, Thin Crust Pizza and Mozzarella Fritters.

Price For Two: INR 2000

A menu more than 10 pages long, Ego Obsession fills the ‘can’t find any other place to go’ void. Although not a connoisseur’s dream, the food nonetheless does the trick. 

What To Order: Lasagna, Pasta and Death By Chocolate.

Pro Tip: The restaurant closes at 3:30 PM post lunch and reopens at 7 PM until midnight for dinner.

An NFC popular restaurant, Rampur Kitchen can be described as the perfect type of Indian Restaurant; informal, welcoming, and always reliable. If you’re in NFC and want a budget-friendly Indian meal, Rampur should be your place to be at.

What To Order: Mughlai dishes, Kebabs and Shawarma.

Not situated at the community centre NFC, it’s a stone’s throw away, and is a mighty fine Chinese restaurant. Most of us have gone for those spontaneous family dinners here. 

What To Order: Teriyaki Chicken, Crab, Prawn 

Price For Two: INR 2000.

Right as you enter the community centre, you'll spot Zahra restaurant. Known for it's Afghani dishes and mughlai cuisine Zahra is quite popular amongst the locals and is praised very often for serving high quality food at modest price. You have to try their Kulhad chai whenever you go here.

What To Order:  Shawarma roll, Shami Kebab, Hyderabadi Biryani and Zahra special.

Theobroma is a Parsi family-owned patisserie and bakery that is well-known for its bread and desserts that made it's way here from the OG in Bombay. It has multiple outlets in Delhi one of which is at NFC. We regularly go here for chocolate brownies and croissants. You have to try their Pineapple cake.

What To Order: Fresh cream pineapple pastry, roasted chicken and mustard sandwich and eggless walnut brownie. Actually all their brownies!

Although primarily known for food hopping, NFC does have a few stores to shop from. There are a number of surplus stores to buy shoes and clothes from. However, we don't suggest you come here especially to shop since you can get better options elsewhere.

There are also a number of shops to get stationery and mobile accessories here.

If you like that ethnic boho look, then FabIndia is the store for you. You’ll find delicately hand woven and stitched apparel which has been dyed with subtle colours. Some of their apparel is embroidered too. They have an awe worthy collection of handloom sarees that look extremely elegant and deserve a mention. This store is located right next to Pebble Street.

The collection at Zodiac Clothing Company includes bold, vibrant, colorful stripes and checks in different shades of granitas and gelatos. They also have an amazing collection of ties in different patterns starting at INR 2,199. They also have different accessories like pochettes, handkerchiefs, belts and socks to complete your look.

This is a menswear brand that designs luxurious formal and designer wear. They are primarily known for canvas suits & shirts, kurtas, artisanal sherwanis and tuxedos. If you are looking for affordable designer clothing, Gargee is a safe option for you.

The store is opposite to the Modi Enterprises at NFC.

Obviously NFC is known for its Modern Bazaar, one stops here to get everything they can’t find elsewhere. From bakery goods to imported snacks, you’ll find everything here. It is also popular to get fresh fruits & vegetables and meat. They also deliver online.

Recently opened up at NFC, Le Marche is your premium organic grocery cum supermarket. You’ll get everything from gourmet goods to locally sourced and organically grown fruits & vegetables. We especially go here for the fresh salads and cheese available here.

NFC's popular theatre, this cinema hall was extremely popular back in the days. Nowadays, we would not recommend it as an ultimate movie theatre to go to but if you are here and want to spend time watching a movie, you can definitely check it out. Another reason why you would see people watching a movie here is since it is comparatively cheap. 

Pro Tip: Although they show all current films, a word to the wise, go to Batra Reels in groups of 4 or more. And, if you’re an all woman crew, one of you should be a trained fighter.

NFC has a few known salons you can book a session at for a day of self-care. However, we'd recommend you to go to Beaut Salon for a makeover at a good price. The services at Beaut are excellent with almost every customer walking out satisfied with the salon.
