Shopping at the Colaba causeway is like nostalgia. One street, thousands of shoppers and like a zillion products - from folks in SoBo to those in suburbs, this busy street is a paradise for fashion and decor lovers. And if you're a loyal shopper, you know that one bhaiya who keeps the latest Zara ka collection, you know how to get your way through a flock of shoppers in that one stall everyone's eyed, you know how to get that pair of shoes at INR 200. Yes. It's a skill you learn over years - LOL!

But, considering not many of us have got a chance to live this experience of late, we've rounded up a few online brands that closely resonate and remind us of our favourite lanes in Mumbai.

Happy shopping!

No one’s walked out of Colaba causeway without a pair of these shiny beauties. In fact the street starts with a huge chunk of jhumkas, earrings and silver jewellery. And it’s okay if you’ve not been able to visit this jewellery paradise of late, because we’ve found an identical one online. Called Style 99, their collection is a lot like you’ll find hanging up in lines on the street. Yes, you’ll land up paying say INR 200 ish more, but isn’t it worth it?

Ah, and our jewellery lover and my colleague Nayantara too has some options for you here! You'll love them!

Stylish and trendy without burning a hole, that’s another reason why every Mumbaikar loves shopping from the Colaba causeway. And my personal loot from these streets over the years have been sandals and chappals. And on an average, I always found a good pair for INR 500-600. And I know you won’t believe it, but Marcus Taurus, a chic e-store for shoes, offers the same. With their collection ranging at INR 599, you can bag trendy and long-lasting slides at a budget-friendly price.

For Those Cool Bags: Vivinkaa

Ahh, this one is a personal fave! It legit makes me feel my years of bargaining at Colaba causeway a waste (haha!) as they’re offering super cool bags at minimal cost right at my doorstep. Expect lots of Indian prints, trendy slings, clutches and totes at prices as low as 399! Yet wanna stroll in the sun and bargain?

For Ethnic Kolhapuris: The Madras Trunk

If you love kolhapuris, you know there are two-three stalls in the causeway which sell just these. Yeah, now that we've got you missing trips here, turn your attention to The Madras Trunk, a homegrown brand that makes identical stuff, mainly kolhapuris and funky flats but dare we say in amazing (notches above) quality! The colours and designs are so trendy too.

Those High-Street Apparels: Myshka

From kurtas to trendy dresses; floral tops to checkered pants; printed shrugs to comfortable capris - Colaba causeway is also prominent for the variety of clothes it offers. Myshka is a Noida-based brand that provides us with the exact same variety. They've got a brilliant mix of ethnic, western and fusion wear. We're betting on their comfy dresses and shrugs for sure. The upside is that we can browse through their entire collection from the comfort vicinity of our homes. Downside? No bargaining. But they do have frequent sales, so that makes up for it.
