I can finish a whole tub of ice-cream each day (read: CAN) and when the ice-cream is as smooth and delicious as Cold Love's, even two don't seem far-fetched (stop judging me, already).
Started by fellow ice-cream lover Aditya Tripathi, Cold Love uses fresh and all-natural ingredients for their rich, homemade ice-creams that come in 13 amazing flavours. I had to choose from Coconut Jaggery, Salted Butter Caramel, Chocolate Fudge-a-Licious, Fresh Mango, Chocolate Hazelnut, Fresh Strawberry, Coffee Lover's Coffee, Sugar-Free Chocolate, Spiced Walnut & Rum, Midnight Chocolate, White Chocolate & Green Chilly, Vanillaaah, and Sugar-Free Coffee for my first two tubs and I went for the Salted Butter Caramel and the Spiced Walnut & Rum. Short review - I wanted so much more.
The ice-creams came perfectly packed and didn't melt on the way. While the Salted Butter Caramel was well-balanced with the correct amount of sweetness and a bitter homemade caramel which is one of the best I have ever tasted, the highlight of the evening was the Spiced Walnut & Rum. The combination of cinnamon, chilli powder, nutmeg, cloves, and Old Monk Rum might seem a little adventurous, but trust me, it was heaven! Unique in every sense and yet, it felt really comfortable on the palette.
Cold Love's artisanal ice-creams are priced at INR 550 for a half-litre tub and INR 1,000 for a one-litre tub.
