What Is It?

While we've told you about the beautiful book store, that's only one of the awesome things you can find on the Lajpat Bhawan campus.

It's hosting The Spring Food Festival 2017 this Sunday. You can expect a whole world of cuisines, books, rides, clothes and feel-good sunshine. And…it's all on a budget.

Who Is It For?

Undoubtedly for the forever-hungry, college students who like to hog on a shoestring budget, families looking for a relaxed Sunday outing {there’s a giant wheel and a special kid’s corner}, and those bored of Dilli Haat.

In short, it’s hard to think of anyone who wouldn’t want to be out in a garden eating cheap hot dogs or overdosing on Chinese thalis.

Why Should I Go For It?

The festival’s put together by Sisters Of The People; volunteers who're getting everything from cakes and bakes, spicy pickles, salads, Thai, Mexican, Bengali, Rajasthani and South Indian, along with a giant wheel where you can plonk the children as you stuff your face or browse through thrift shop clothes.

Anything Else?

The Grub Fest and Palate Fest are way too mainstream. Plus, they aren’t budget enough for us to prefer them over a quaint cafe with way fewer people inside our comfort zone.

It's for a cause, too; everything you eat, shop for or enjoy at this fest will go towards helping the underprivileged, slum dwellers and senior citizens.
