A Party To Die For! is a strange {but fascinating} dinner party that aims at getting together a bunch of people for an immersive-dining-meets-theatrical experience. Floh, a platform that connects singles through curated, offbeat events {cookouts, cruises and all}, is back with yet another fun evening at Lavaash on August 20. Everyone will play a character from an Oscar’s night and solve a murder mystery by talking to all the other party guests over food and drinks.

This is a singles only zone. The ones who are done with orchestrated hook-ups and awkward blind dates might want to give this a shot.
Why Should I Go For It?
Soon as the dinner guests arrive, they’ll be handed over a kit that explains the character they’re going to play that night. They’ll get props specific to the character and easy peasy instructions on how they can play the part well. So, you could be a wannabe starlet, a rockstar or even an award-winning actor… Basically, 30 guests will play typical red carpet regulars mingling and eating {Lavaash’s serving snacks} till 15 minutes later a gun shot is heard and someone gets murdered. The rest of the evening, the characters interact with each other in trying to track down the murderer.
If you aren’t a great actor, don’t worry. Some cocktails should help. We’re also assured that the idea is to let everyone talk to everyone as the focus is on problem-solving instead of hardcore acting.
If this doesn’t sound like fun, you can stick to Tinder but remember, those kind of dates will always be a gamble. In a setting like this, however, that’s never a risk. You’re free to chat up, move on, explore and perhaps forget all about it after having a really great time. And, who knows, you may even find your Holmes Sweet Holmes who shares your love for crime thrillers and Netflix right here. In which case, you’ll have an awesome meet-up tale for generations.
