Remember back when we could browse in-store rather than clicking the “Next Page” on Chrome when we wanted to check out the entire collection? It’s been a while since we’ve done that but we’ve got some good news for you and your wardrobes (and your Instagram by default.) Peachoo, the luxe ethnicwear store, has now opened up its doors again in Khan Market! You can drop by the regularly sanitised store on odd days of the month, between 11 AM to 5:30 PM and pick up some gorgeous draped sarees, blouses, suits and, our summer staple, palazzo pants! In case you aren’t in Delhi or want to stay home, they’re also delivering all over India now and offering cash on delivery on orders in Delhi NCR.
What we love most about Peachoo’s collection is that while the clothes are undeniably ethnic and desi, they have a really pretty and understated Parisian touch to them. While most ethnic clothes you find will be in really bright colours and have a lot of embroidery or sequins (not saying we don’t love that but it isn’t something we’d wear regularly), Peachoo’s designs feature a lot of monochromatic aesthetics and subtle glamour which is usually pretty hard to find in India. We loved the lime ecru set that’s perfect for summer; the colour is fresh, the threadwork looks like pineapples and can we talk about the pants ‘cause they are perfect for beating the heat in style. We also loved the satin, ice blue set with mesh borders and embroidered floral detailing.
You can DM them or drop them a Whatsapp text if you want to see the entire collection (we sure did) online in case you can’t visit the store. They’ll tell you if the piece you like is available in your size and you can complete your order right then!
