Pedal for the Planet: Walk & Cycle for a Good Cause

The information in this post might be outdated

What is It?

Pedal for the Planet is a WWF India Cyclothon {and walkathon} leading up to Earth Hour celebrations this year. Come pedal or ‘paidal’ as they say - make a difference!

Who is It for?

Environment-conscious folks, as well as anyone who enjoys fitness activities, especially for a cause. Ideally, we’d say gather your crew and make a day of it! Age? No bar.

Why Should I go for It?

Pedal for the Planet is instrumental in spreading awareness about the condition of the planet and its atmosphere. Attend to do your bit {you do occupy a space on this Earth, after all}, get a workout of sorts in and in general, have a ball while you do some good.

Does It Cost Anything?

Entry is free and cycles are being offered on a first come first serve basis {in case you don’t own one yourself}.

Anything Else?

Dress up in nature-related garb and if you get creative {as a planet, an animal or even a solar light}, you may win a prize. What that is, you’ll have to attend to know.
