What Makes It Awesome

We're Delhiites so any chance we get to eat momos, we're taking it. When we stumbled upon Pema's in Malviya Nagar, we knew. We knew we've never had better Tibetan food and every place after this won't match up to its level. And while we're sitting at home during the lockdown because of coronavirus, our mind drifts... it drifts to happier days when we could eat momos with that spicy chutney. Pema's heard us, though, because they're delivering food to our homes safely, making sure they follow WHO guidelines during food prep and delivery.

We definitely had to get a plate of their steamed hot momos. Their paneer momos for vegetarians is one of the best things on the menu. Apart from that, we also ordered the pork momos which were quite filling. We absolutely loved their thukpa and we highly recommend it. Try their chicken one-  it’s got the right flavours and is a sure shot cure for an ailing throat. The Shyaphalay (stuffed fried Tibetan bread) is a delicious addition but it’s very filling so make sure you have the space for it.

Their Chinese menu isn’t bad either if you’re big on Chinese van kind of food.

Price: INR 130 onwards

What Could Be Better

The fried momos weren't as impressive as the steamed ones (which were perfect). They were a little too greasy and didn't hold up so well during home delivery as they lost a bit of their crunch.

Pro-Tip

We'd say stick to the 'Himalayan Favourites' section, since many places can deliver good Chinese food but Tibetan food this good is kind of rare. Also, for those of you who want to enjoy a good, healthy meal, their momos also come in a healthy wheat variation.
