These Guys Will Set Up A Movie Theatre Right In Your Lawn!

An inflatable tent house with an 18 x 7 ft. silver screen, Dolby sound system, and a love for movies—that’s what Picture Time is. They set up their inflatable tent in remote areas to bring the best cinematic experiences to rural places in the country. The fun part? You can book them to host their movie experiences in your lawn!

They call their portable cinema hall a ‘Digiplex’ and it’s basically a huge, inflatable and fire retardant tent which they set up in a particular area. Inside the Digiplex, there’s seating for 100–150 people {yes, it’s that big}, an 18 x 7 ft. silver screen fit with top-of-the-line Dolby sound system, and a bunch of people enjoying the latest flicks.

Their primary agenda is to bring city-like movie viewing experiences to rural areas where people don’t have access to the PVRs and the Odeons of the world—and we salute them for that. They’ve done various shows and activities in Chattisgarh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, UP and Goa.

Here’s the fun part if you got excited by this inflatable movie magic—they do private movie screenings as well. So, if you’re ready to take movie night with the squad to an unprecedented level, hit these guys up.

They’ll set up the Digiplex, have air conditioning, seating for a huge group {probably mention plus ones in your movie night invite}, arrange the movies themselves {you can also play anything of your own upon request} and basically do the whole shebang. You’ll need a minimum of 50 x 80 ft. of space and would need to book it two weeks in advance. The whole experience won’t come cheap, though. It’ll set you back about INR 50K per show {but hey, divide that between your massive gang, maybe?}.
