What Is Happening

Founded by Milind Soman and Reema Sanghvi, India’s Biggest Women’s Run—Pinkathon is back on September 23. If you’ve always wanted to run a marathon, this is probably the best one to start with. For the uninitiated, Pinkathon is a pan India project that was started with the objective of spreading awareness about women’s health (particularly about breast cancer) and to motivate them to lead to healthier lives.

As part of this women-only running event, one can participate in categories like 21km, 10km, 5km and 3km races. All women who complete the race will receive finisher medals, an online certificate with participation and timing, and a free medical check-up from Apollo Foundation.

Price Includes

The registration fee for all race categories (3, 5 and 10km) is INR 700. You'd have to pay an extra amount of INR 250 and INR 100 for the BIB Tag (for official timing) and the official race day T-shirt respectively (both of these are optional).

For the 21km event, the registration process is slightly more complicated. Women can sign up for the half marathon only if they've participated in a long distance event in the 24 months preceding Pinkathon 2018. Also, they should have finished the race within a certain time limit. Check out the Pinkathon website for more info (under registration; race categories).

Make A Note

The last date for offline registrations is September 3rd, and the online registrations close on September 10 (6pm) or once the running places are filled (whichever is earlier).

Also, be sure to collect your running bibs in person on September 21st and 22nd, between 11am to 7pm. The venue for the bib collection will be disclosed soon.
