Poetry By Love & Cheesecake has already made a mark in Mumbai, and now is starting its journey in NCR with its first outlet in Cyber Hub, Gurgaon. The space has a very charming vibe to it, decorated with plants here and there, soothing classics playing in the background, books on display for you to pick from and read, and an inviting display of cheesecakes. The aesthetic, albeit simple, is quite pleasing, and the cafe fits about 15 people. I had almost cancelled my visit here due to the heavy rain but it only added to the experience!
I usually don’t order soups but the weather made me do it, and aren't I glad it did. The Cream of Mushroom Soup was delicious with very well-balanced flavors and seasoning, I slurped and polished the entire bowl in no time. Next in line was the Avocado Bruschetta Tartine, which was super fresh and wholesome. If you like pasta, order their Spaghetti Red (veg), it's got a slightly chunky tomato sauce or Spaghetti (non-veg) that is creamy, and has a citrusy lemon flavour with soft chunks of chicken. The Portobello Panino is a haven for mushroom lovers, it's got layers of slow-cooked cheesy mushrooms, definitely something I'd go back for!
I didn’t have room to eat anymore but their assortment of cheesecakes was calling my name. We had a taster of the red velvet but they also have blueberry, Nutella, Biscoff, and like, 27 other options that you won’t be able to resist trying.
