Pottery for Beginners

Learn making pottery using a handbuilding technique like pinch, slab and coil and discover the joy of creating your first pot. Our workshops are designed for beginners who always wanted to try their hands in clay. Each participants shall independently create their own project under our supervision and guidance. Those who want to try their hands on potter's wheel will also get a chance to see how clay moves on spinning wheel. At the end of workshop, you can take back your creation home.

Who can participate?

Adults and Kids 7+ years

Our Pottery Studio is located on lush green sunny rooftop on 2nd floor. It is a covered space with bamboo walls around with sun peeking inside through a beautiful window. Studio is equipped with two work tables with 12 seatings, two electric and one kick wheel and a washroom. Participants are served with fresh green tea as welcome drink made from freshly plucked lemongrass and lemon leaves.

1) Avoid wearing rings and trim your finger nails to fully enjoy the activity.

2) Wear comfortable clothes as you will be working with clay and little water

3) Bring a tray or shoe box with flat surface to carry back your creations safely back home
