What A Way To Deal With {S}crap!
The DMRC has used all sorts of waste to construct the beautiful structures near the Shastri Park metro station. The idea behind this initiative is to create awareness about upcycling basic waste and making something creative out of it.
The over-flowing landfills of Delhi are a prime example of improper waste management and these installations are a beautiful reminder of that. From iron scraps to discarded sheets, tiles and even old used pipes, 12 sculptures stand strong demonstrating a beautiful way to look at disposable waste.

If you happen to pass through the Shastri Park metro station, stop by and admire the arty-ness of the space. The space is not just installation friendly but environmentally conscious too. According to HT, they have an auditorium, amphitheater, meditation alcove, playground for children, a gymnasium for visitors and a lot of other eco-friendly activities.
