We Asked A Professional Dancer How To Dress To Get The Most Out Of Zoom Class

One thing you'll definitely need for class is a pair of lowers that won't restrict your movement. These cotton shorts are casual, cool and comfy and the tie-dye print is SO in at the moment.

Oversized tees have been our go-to for lounging at home but they also work equally well for dance class! The loungewear vibe easily turns into the cool girl vibe, especially paired with some bike shorts and your hair up in a bun. Get at least a size or two bigger than your usual for the perfect anti-fit.

There will come a moment during your dance class when you're sweaty and feel like dancing in your shorts and sports bra. But for that, it's much easier when your sports bra isn't basic. I mean, other than the support it provides, a sports bra should be cute, too, right?

When you're moving around, you need a pair of earrings that are lightweight and won't snag and end up hurting you. While you could just opt to not wear earrings but really, why would you do that? When sweatpants met style, we got joggers. They're comfortable, look super cool and allow a lot of movement whether you're about to go into a hip-hop class or contemporary routine. I also love that you could wear them just to lounge around in or if even style them up like in Instagram influencer with a blazer.

Socks make it easier for you to glide and slide during class so while they've definitely got a functional reason to be worn, wearing boring socks is just wrong.
