Kickstarted back in 2017, Proost69 by Grano69 Beverages is very proudly based out of Delhi. But that's not the reason why we are so biased towards them (just a little, perhaps). Their journey dates back to when the founder, Tarun Bhargava, noticed the lack of freshly brewed beer in the Indian beer market, following his diligent attempt to introduce us to an elite yet affordable beer.
I personally favour wheat beer over any other kind simply because it's light, crisp and just extremely pleasing on the palate. Proost69's White Ale is a blend of classic white ale with notes of vanilla and zesty orange. The cidery and fruity kick might be a bit intimidating at first, but you'll eventually come around. The Mild Lager is a refreshing antidote during those scorching summer afternoons. The Strong Lager is bold with a welcome malty flavour, something that can be enjoyed with a hearty meal. These beers are brewed and imported from Spain and Belgium with ingredients sourced from the European market—it makes sense why they went with Proost (which means cheers in Dutch). We'd Proost to that!
Available In: Delhi, Uttarakhand, Goa, Punjab and Chandigarh.
Prices: The White Ale is priced at INR 170/pint, The Mild Lager can INR 125 and the Strong Lager costs INR 100 a can.
